Data sourcing
Everything comes from public government records
We don't scrape private data or infer anything about individuals. Every figure in unlobbied traces back to a public filing.
Public registry data only
Lobbyist registrations, client disclosures, and campaign finance figures come directly from each state's official disclosure system.
No private data collection
We never purchase private contact lists, scrape social media, or infer information beyond what's already publicly filed.
Refreshed daily, sourced transparently
Every record links back to its original filing, so you can always verify a figure against the state's own disclosure system.
Access control
You only ever see the states you've subscribed to
State access isn't a frontend filter — it's enforced at the database level, on every query, for every account.
State-level data isolation
Every organization, bill, legislator, and campaign record is tagged to a state. Your account only ever returns records for states you're subscribed to.
Enforced at the database, not the UI
Access rules run as row-level security policies on the database itself, so there's no way to bypass them by tampering with the app.
Per-seat account permissions
Firm admins control which teammates can see which states and features, down to the individual seat.
Infrastructure
Built on standard, audited infrastructure
We don't run custom, unaudited servers — the underlying database and hosting layers are the same ones used by thousands of production applications.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All data moves over HTTPS, and the underlying database encrypts stored data at rest by default.
Managed Postgres database
Built on Supabase, a managed Postgres platform, rather than a custom in-house data store.
Daily automated backups
Your account's saved leads, notes, and campaign records are backed up automatically every day.
